Immersion process

Versatile solutions: HAMCO is your specialist for diving parts

Dipped parts are extremely versatile: pull-off caps, rectangular caps, hexagonal caps, edge protectors and recessed handles are just a few examples of the wide range of solutions that we realise at HAMCO using the dipping process.

Soft PVC - the all-rounder in the dipping process

Our soft PVC dipped parts are versatile products with specific properties and numerous application possibilities. Plasticised PVC is also known as W-PVC or PVC-P.

Properties of W-PVC

The versatility of soft PVC moulded parts allows them to be used in numerous industries where they are valued for their specific properties such as flexibility, protective function and ease of processing. A direct coating with soft PVC is often the optimal solution when rubberisation is required. The coating provides cushioning and scratch resistance, for example, and is also a cost-effective solution.

Applications for dipped parts made of PVC

These are just a few examples of applications for HAMCO's submersible parts. We supply numerous industries from the automotive industry to medical technology.

Whether it's a single delivery or a large series - HAMCO delivers in all sizes!

Special requirements? HAMCO delivers the solution!

Various heights, lengths, diameters, wall thicknesses and Shore hardnesses are part of our standard range in the dipping process. But even special requirements are no problem for us: do you have a special colour request, do you need an ESD-capable material or a bead profile? We are prepared for a wide range of requirements and can realise them according to your specifications. For example, we use various special dipping pastes to produce special parts for the electrical industry that fulfil current ESD requirements. Dipped parts made from medical dipping paste for extracorporeal applications or from biocompatible dipping paste with FDA approval are also possible. Dipped parts and dip coating with PVC

Another solution that we offer using the dip coating process is dip coating. Dip coating is a process in which objects are immersed in a liquid coating material such as W-PVC in order to achieve a protective layer or certain surface properties. In the production of dipped parts, on the other hand, moulds are dipped in liquid W-PVC to produce hollow parts such as protective caps, pull-off caps or handle profiles. Dipped parts can therefore be complete products, while dip coatings usually refine or protect existing objects.
