Efficient energy utilisation: using resources wisely
Energy efficiency plays a decisive role at HAMCO. We optimise our energy consumption by using renewable energies and intelligent technologies:
- Our Photovoltaic system on the company premises generates a significant proportion of our electricity requirements and thus reduces our CO₂ emissions.
- The Heat emissions from the production ovens are used specifically to heat our halls. This enables us to minimise external energy requirements and improve energy efficiency.
- Intelligent Lighting systems with motion detectors ensure that light is only used where and when it is really needed.
Sustainable mobility: promoting electromobility
In order to support environmentally friendly mobility, we have installed E-car charging stations installed. This enables our employees and guests to charge their vehicles emission-free and thus make a contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions.
Circular economy: waste reduction through recycling
The sustainable use of materials is essential in order to conserve resources. HAMCO is committed to the consistent recycling of production waste:
- Recycling in the Injection moulding processThe rejects and overproduction of articles manufactured using the dipping process and the sprues from injection moulding are not disposed of but reused. The material is ground down (regranulation), regranulated and reprocessed.
- Especially in the Automotive industry this process plays an important role in enabling more sustainable production through plastic recycling.
- These measures enable us to minimise our waste and actively contribute to the conservation of resources.
Environmentally friendly materials and packaging
HAMCO takes care to use environmentally friendly materials and reduce packaging waste:
- Our used Pastes and granulates are recyclablewhich keeps materials in the material cycle.
- Reusable cardboard packaging for packaging help to avoid waste and further strengthen the circular economy.
Digital processes to conserve resources
Paper consumption is an often underestimated factor in sustainability. HAMCO therefore relies on the Digitalisation of internal processesto conserve resources:
- Documents and work processes are recorded and managed digitally, which significantly reduces paper consumption.
- Efficient digital structures not only improve the environmental balance, but also optimise everyday working life.
